Getting started with Elyvero

Elyvero is a Shopify Online Store 2.0 theme. This guide covers installing a downloaded theme ZIP and preparing a new store.

1. Install without affecting a live store

  1. In Shopify admin, open Online Store → Themes.
  2. Under the theme library, use Add theme → Upload zip file (labels may vary by admin language).
  3. Upload the Elyvero ZIP you received. Wait for Shopify to process it.
  4. Open Customize on the uploaded unpublished theme; do not publish until tests are complete.
  5. In Theme settings, set a real logo, fonts, colors, and favicon.

2. Prepare real content

Create products and collections under Products and assign them to the corresponding sections in the editor. Create a main menu and relevant legal pages. Replace every placeholder image and generic label before public launch.

3. First functional test

Open a product page, choose a variant, add it to the cart, update quantity, then visit checkout in the store’s test mode. Also check the homepage, collection, search, footer, and mobile version.
